A Simple Home Business Plan Part 2

What I am doing with my home business plan is answering three questions:

Where exactly is the business?
Where exactly do I want the business to be at the end of 2013?
How can I get there?

This is about as simplistic as you can get! But it tells me:

Where I am with the business.
Where do I want it to be in 1 year.
How do I get from where I am to where I want to be?

Today we will look at part two. where do I want my business to be at the end of this year. This is the fun part, dreaming where you can go and how much you can make. But be careful here, it is easy to make a mistake that will make the third part difficult to complete or doom your plan to failure.

The answer to this question has several aspects. Let’s say you want to earn $100,000. in 2013. this is great! How are you going to do that? Affiliate sales? Which ones? How much from each one? Are you going to sell your own ebooks? This is excellent! How many books? Are you going to do some freelance blogging or writing? Super? Who are you going to write for? How much are they going to pay you?

Start to consider these questions. It will help you in part three; your plan of action. If you choose not to at least think this through a bit, when you get to the plan you are going to have some difficulty… You see, if part two is the fun part, then part three is the challenging part.

This is your home business and your business plan. Be careful. Take the time to think it through and work out your plan. If you do this, you are on your way to success!

I have been reading a new trend in internet / home based incomes. Some experts have published audio tapes and books about how having and managing multiple income streams – none of which are substantial – can lead to a six figure annual income. This sounds very realistic to me and I intend to pursue this strategy. With so many online outlets, it is feasible to have a multitude of profitable income streams to work from home.

Thank you for this advice. Sometimes, it is good to have someone publish an article that provides those who may be struggling with the advice and inspiration they need to persevere. Running your own business can be quite a struggle and there are times when you just need a little push or the answers to some quandary you may have. I really needed this. It came at the most ideal time in my life.

Regarding your other article: “Top 10 Google Tools For Your Business, I really enjoyed the breakdown of the Google items that are beneficial to a website. I have used analytics, but I had never even logged into, much less tried, Google Gadgets. I am using Word Press content management system for my blogs and even though I use high end themes, I am always looking for extra widgets for Word Press.

Affiliate marketing business is good as you can work from home on that. It is good as long as the company is legit.
