Thinking Of Business Plans
It is the time of the year to be doing some serious work on my business plan for 2013.
This has not been a favorite for me. However the results from my previous method of “just go out and do the best you can” have not been all that successful.
So, I did some research and never really found what I wanted. Then I thought about what I need from a good business plan was:
- Where exactly is the business?
- Where exactly do I want the business to be at the end of 2013?
- How can I get there?
This is about as simplistic as you can get! But it tells me:
- Where I am with the business.
- Where do I want it to be in 1 year.
- How do I get from where I am to where I want to be?
In the next few days, I will unpack and detail what I am doing in these 3 areas. I am a simple person operating a simple business from home. I do not need a huge plan to attract investors, please the stockholders, or get a loan from the bank. But I do believe that a solid, well defined plan is a road map to success.
I want 2013 to be a break-out year for my business. And that requires a plan…

As a work from home mum, thinking a business plan when I am still starting is too hard to do as you need a lot of things to think and consider.
How hard you work at the begining, that much profit you get for future Shane. After understanding the main logics it becomes routine. You start enjoying after you really get a profitable income. Don’t just give up. Continue the hard work and you really will have a very successful home business setted up.
